MyPeople, welcome to Rome the Capital city of Italy! Today after you arrive, we are driving through Bella Italia towards Tuscany to visit Siena.
We will go by the beautiful vineyards through the Tuscany wine-producing region of Chianti towards the medieval city of Siena. We will visit the iconic Piazza del Campo – an impressive seashell shaped square in the heart of Siena and enjoy the atmosphere where everyone is relaxing in the square!
When you experience the excitement of the Palio di Siena horse race (July 2 and August 16), you will feel there is a special aura about this city. Take a glimpse around and you’ll see historic buildings, including the amazing architecture of Palazzo Pubblico and the Mangia Tower. Stroll through the ancient cobbled streets to marvel at the striped marble cathedral and indulge in shopping for some of Siena’s attractive ceramic pottery!
Drive on towards Florence for some rest and recuperation for the evening!
After a good night’s rest we today are headed towards to Cinque Terre that has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.This will be an unforgettable experience dedicated to discovering few of the uniquely-designed fishing villages that are suspended between sea and land – Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso. When we arrive at La Spezia, we will be taken across to the villages by either a boat or a train to see the tiny seaside towns. Feel transported to another world as you stroll along the narrow streets and the small alleyways to see the enchanting beaches and lush green vegetation that surrounds these towns with tiny natural ports.
Lo and Behold! MyPeople, now we are setting out to witness another one of the UNESCO listed seven architectural Wonders of the World –Leaning Tower of Pisa. We will need tickets to enter to the Leaning Tower of Pisa if you desire and climb the monument to enjoy breath-taking views from the top. We will be on the Square of Miracles where the Leaning Tower, Cathedral and Baptistery were built in the 14th Century!
After capturing great photographs in Pisa, we head back to Florence and wait in anticipation to visit the Home of the Renaissance Masters the next day
MyPeople, we are in the “Cradle of the Renaissance”, and our day will begin with a walking tour of Florence. We will go around the Piazza Della Signoria–a free open air museum–to discover and explore the world-class works of art and sculptures by the unmatched Renaissance Masters like Michelangelo, Cellini and Giambologna to name a few. We will see the Old Palace of the powerful Medici rulers and the Ponte Vechio too. If we have time, we would like to walk you to the 12th Century Basilica of Santa Croce which is the final resting place of Michelangelo and Galileo Galilei, to name a few!

Of course, the famed Leonardo da Vinci’s mural ‘The Last Supper’ is preserved carefully in the UNESCO-listed Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. You will be awed by the sight of the great Castello Sforzesco which we visit next, a perfect combination of Italy’s history and architecture which will transport you to 15th century Milanese history.
During your free time visit the prestigious world famous La Scala Opera House which has witnessed most famous works by Rossini and Verdi! MyPeople, we will visit the stunning town of Capri, on the last day of our tour. Capri is an island in Italy’s Gulf of Naples, and is famous for its landscapes, classy beach resorts and stores that sell beautiful handmade leather sandals and signature limoncello liqueur.
It is an island in the Tyrrhenian Sea, which we will travel to by a coach and then cross the deep blue sea by a high speed boat. Thereafter we will visit Anacapri, a hilltop village with wonderful views, and enjoy a chair-lift ride up Monte Solaro – Monte Solaro is a mountain on the island of Capri. With an elevation of 589 m, its peak is the highest point of Capri. In your relaxed hours, we recommend you to explore the main town of Capri. You can also take a boat tour to Capri’s famous Blue Grotto, a dark cavern where the sea glows electric blue, a result of sunlight passing through an underwater cave. If time permits, we will visit the Faraglioni rocks, which were formed by erosion from the oceanic waves. They are an amazing sight to see and can be spotted from various coasts of Italy. Capri is well worth the trip from Rome!
